GRAHAM — Mrs. Ruby Kernodle Hunter , 86, of 1069 E Ivey Road, died Saturday, Feb. 10, 2007, at 9:35 a.m. at Alamance Regional Medical Center following a two week illness.
A native of Alamance County, she was the wife of the late Robert F. Hunter and daughter of the late Joseph A. Kernodle and Eliza Faucette Kernodle . She was retired from Hollingsworth Jewelers in Asheboro.
Other than her husband and parents, she was preceded in death by two sisters, Ms. Elizabeth Kernodle and Mrs. Eva K. Allison, and two brothers, Mr. Earvin Kernodle and Lonzie L. Kernodle .
A graveside service will be conducted 2 p.m., Monday at Pine Hill Cemetery.
The family will receive friends at the Rich & Thompson Funeral Home in Graham from 12:30 until 1:30, prior to the service.
