MAY 10, 1925 ~ SEPTEMBER 28, 2019 (AGE 94)
Inez Cantrell King, 94, of Burlington, passed away Saturday, September 28, 2019, at the Hospice Home in Burlington.
A native of Alamance County, Mrs. King was the wife of the late Edward Herbert King and the daughter of the late Van Cantrell and the late Della Ingle Cantrell.
Mrs. King was a retired textile employee and an employee of Carpet King for over 30 years. She was a member of Lowe’s Memorial Church.
She is survived by her son, Jerry Edward King and his husband, Doug Bris-Bois, Jr., of Graham; her grandsons, Jon King, Jason King, and Brian King; great-grandchildren, Jordan Vaden, Alex King, Zack King, Elizabeth King, Nick King, Noah King, Grayson King, Olivia King and Tony King; great-great grandchildren, Connel Vaden, Donovan Vaden and Sophia Stamps; a brother, Charlie Cantrell of Burlington; a daughter-in-law, Denise King of Burlington and her life partner, Bob Roberts.
In addition to her husband and parents, she was preceded in death by a son, Larry Raymond King, a grandson, Jeremy King, an infant brother, three sisters, Alma Cantrell, Louise Huffines and Cozette Kernodle, and two brothers, George Cantrell and Walter Cantrell.
The family will receive friends Thursday, October 3, 2019 from 10:30 until Noon at Rich and Thompson Funeral Service in Burlington.
A graveside service will follow at 12:30 pm in Alamance Memorial Park. Officiating will be the Rev. Don Pegg.
Mrs. King would appreciate those attending the visitation or graveside service, to please wear bright and cheery clothes.
The family would also like to express their gratitude to Mrs. King’s caregivers for their wonderful support and love shown during this time.
