Mrs. Faye  Tickle Lentz 


    CHARLOTTE — Mrs. Faye  Tickle Lentz , 75, of 6726 Farmingdale Dr., passed away at 4 p.m. Friday, June 15, 2007, at her residence.
    A native of Alamance County, she was the wife of the late Herbert Josephus "Joe" Lentz  and daughter of the late James V. Tickle Sr. and Ludie Martin Turner Tickle. She was of the Lutheran faith and was an accountant with STV/Ralph Whitehead and Associates.
    Surviving are a son, David P. Kilpatrick and wife, Sandra of Burlington and a grandson, Dustin Kilpatrick of Raleigh. Through her marriage to Mr. Lentz , she was also the stepmother to Debbie Thomas and Robert Lentz  as well as six stepgrandchildren. She was preceded in death, other than her husband and parents, by a sister, Beulah Tickle Stone and five brothers, George Turner, Dwight O. Tickle, Vernon R. Tickle, Clyde V. Tickle and J. V. Tickle Jr.
Services will be held at 2 p.m., Monday, June 18 at the Rich & Thompson Chapel in Burlington. Burial will follow at Pine Hill Cemetery. The family will receive friends at the Rich & Thompson Mortuary in Burlington from 12:30-1:30 p.m. prior to the service.
