Thomas “Tommy” D. Smith
Thomas “Tommy” D. Smith, 69 of Swepsonville, passed away at Alamance Regional Medical Center on Friday, June 14, 2019.
A native of Alamance County, he was the husband of Glenda Marie Smith and the son to the late Buster Smith and the late Louise Clayton Smith.
Tommy was a former coowner and operator of Page’s Coin Laundry and member of The Drifters Motorcycle Club. He was a member of Swepsonville Baptist Church where he served as an usher and member of the Elmer Lee Phillips Sunday School Class.
In addition to his wife of the home, he is survived by one daughter, Tracy Perry and her husband William “Bill” Perry of Elon; two grandchildren, Wesley Perry and Kaycee Marie Perry; and his dog, Sassy.
His funeral service will be held at Swepsonville Baptist Church on Monday, June 17, 2019 at 3:00 pm, with family receiving friends from 1:30 pm until 3:00 pm prior to the service.
