BRYSON CITY, N.C. — Mr. Curtis Boyd Andrews, 79, died July 25, 2011 in Bryson City.
Born in Graham, N.C., he began his work career atWestern Electric in Burlington and later moved to Bradenton, Fla., as Senior Vice President of Operations with Wellcraft Marine.
Survivors include his son, Anthony Boyd, of Cedar Key, Fla.; daughter, Pamela (Roger) Deas, of Bryson City, N.C.; brothers, James (Joyce) of Morehead City, N.C., and William of Elon, N.C.; sisters, Patricia Rhodes of Madison, N.C. and Edna (Henry) Handy of Alamance, N.C.
He was preceded in death by his wife, Bettie Riddle; daughter, Deborah Steed; parents, Walter and Ona Thompson Andrews; and brothers, Willard and Max.
A memorial service will be conducted at a later date in Burlington, N.C.
