Obituary Online notes for Donnell Eugene JEROME
JEROME, DONNELL E. was born June 14, 1934 in Kuna, Idaho. He passed away Sunday, June 8, 2014 in Albuquerque at the age of 79. Donnell grew up on a dairy farm near Kuna. After two years of farming as an adult, he moved on to serve with the Boise, Idaho Police Department, teaching Police Science at Washington State University, where he spent two years as Department Chairman. He then began working in Security Management and Counter Intelligence at Sandia National Laboratories. Donnell had been retired from the Laboratories for 16 years. As well, he was an active member of the Asbury United Methodist Church and an officer in the Enchanted Park Neighborhood Association. Donnell was preceded in death by his parents, Ermil and Evelyn Jerome and by his sister, Doris Elavsky. He is survived by his wife, Thisbe Jerome; children, Rebecca (George) March, Prudence (Robert) Edgar, Timothy (Patricia) Jerome and Elizabeth (John) Feldman; eleven grandchildren; five great grandchildren; as well as other family members and friends who loved and will miss him. A Memorial Service will be held at Asbury United Methodist Church, 10000 Candelaria Rd. NE. on Saturday, June 14, 2014 at 2:00 pm.
