Mr. Dennis Bune Gerringer, Sr., 91, of Greensboro, passed away on May 14, 2021.
Funeral services will be held at 2:30 pm on Sunday at Community Fellowship Church and the family will receive friends following the service. There will be a committal service 2:00 PM on Monday at Green Hill Cemetery.
Mr. Gerringer was born on January 1, 1930, in Guilford County to the late Hugh and Bertha Osborne Gerringer. He was a member of Community Fellowship Church and was retired from AT&T after 49 years. He was a member of the Pioneers and a recreational pilot. He also served in the United States Naval Reserve.
Mr. Gerringer is survived by his wife of 65 years Peggy Trivette Gerringer; his sons, Dennis Bune Gerringer, Jr. (Jo Ann) and Michael Scott Gerringer; four grandchildren; seven great grandchildren and two great great grandchildren.
George Brothers Funeral Home served the family.
