Golda Jane Venable Bouldin, 92, passed away March 9, 2016 in Auburn, AL.

She was a former resident of Wilmington, NC.

Born in Yadkin County, NC, she was the daughter of Walter Green and Bessie Kathryn Brown Venable.

She was a retired nurse and a member of the Pine Valley United Methodist Church.

She was predeceased by her husband of 63 years, Carl Vance Bouldin, daughter, Phyllis Germano and son, Larry Bouldin; brothers, Fred and Walter Venable; sisters, Eloise Woodell, Opal Venable, Sylvia Livengood, Marjorie Paul, and Vivian Venable.

Surviving are her daughter, Kathy Woodham and her husband, Randy of Opelika, AL; five grandchildren, Jill Rhoad, Jana Mittelmeier and her husband, Aaron, Kyle Woodham and his wife Brittney, Tyler Woodham and his wife Madeline, and Adam Bouldin; five great-grandchildren, Mason and Alayna Rhoad and Wells, Clark and Lawson Woodham.

Also surviving are a brother, Rev. Dr. Harold Venable, a sister, Reba Farrington, and a daughter-in-law, Nancy Bouldin.

A funeral service will be held Monday, March 14, 2016 at 11:00 a.m., with visitation at 10:30 a.m., at Greenlawn Memorial Park Mausoleum Chapel.

The service will be officiated by Mrs. Bouldin's son-in-law, Rev. Randy Woodham. Memorial contributions can be made to Pine Valley United Methodist Church, 3788 Shipyard Blvd., Wilmington, NC 28412. www.jeffcoattrant.com
