Frank E. Gilliam, Jr.
 

 
 BURLINGTON - Mr. Frank E. Gilliam, Jr., 79, of Burlington, died Monday, October 10, 2016 at Edgewood Place in Burlington.
 
 Mr. Gilliam was the husband of Martha Bryan Gilliam and the son of the late Dr. Frank E. Gilliam, Sr. and the late Myrtle Burch Gilliam.
 
 Mr. Gilliam was a retired manufacturer’s representative.
 
 He was a member of the First Baptist Church of Burlington, where he was a Sunday School teacher and served as a Deacon.
 
 He was also a member and past-president of the Burlington Kiwanis Club.
 
 Mr. Gilliam is survived by his wife, Martha; his daughter, Jane Gilliam Cox (Craig), of Charlotte; his son, Bryan Gilliam (Deann) of Greensboro; four granddaughters, Haley, Amanda, Samantha and Meagan; and his sister, Jeanette Gilliam Oliver of Moriarty, New Mexico.
 
 The family will receive friends Saturday, October 15th, from 12:30 p.m. until 2 p.m. in the Gathering Place of the First Baptist Church of Burlington followed by the funeral service at 2 p.m. in the church sanctuary.
 
 Officiating will be the Rev. Dr. Terry Peele.
 
 Burial will be in Pine Hill Cemetery.
 
 Memorials may be made to the First Baptist Church of Burlington, 400 S. Broad Street, Burlington, NC 27215.
