Robert EL Swicegood on 19 May 1887 in Davidson County married Frances Ann (Annie or Fannie) Michael, daughter of Jacob and Rebecca Jane Long Michael. Their children were Roy Neal, Benjamin, Clara, Jacob and Susan.
**Annie Swicegood did not die prior to 1900 as you have stated. She filed a petition in 1911 while living in Danville, VA requesting the inheritance of her three youngest children from the estate of their grandfather, Henry Franklin Swicegood (father of Robert Early Lafayette Swicegood. She stated she was the children's guardian and a separate document dated the same she stated the two older sons Benjamin F. and Roy Neal were over the age of 21.
