SNOW CAMP — Mrs. Doris McPherson Greeson , 82, of 7408 Bass Mountain Road, Snow Camp, died at Wake Medical Center, Cary, on Thursday, March 22, 2007 at 1:10 a.m.
A native of Alamance County, she was the daughter of Fred McPherson and Emma Hobson McPherson , both deceased. She was retired from the Alamance County Department of Social Services. She was a member of Rock Creek United Methodist Church.
Survivors include three sons, Mr. Tony Greeson and wife, Joan, of Atlanta, Ga., Mr. Randel Greeson and wife, Jewel, of Snow Camp, and Mr. Hoyt Greeson and wife, Kelley, of Apex; and six grandchildren.
The funeral will be conducted at the Rich & Thompson Chapel in Burlington on Saturday, March 24, 2007 at 11 a.m. by the Rev. Jim Folks. Burial will follow in Alamance Memorial Park.
The family will receive friends at the Rich & Thompson Mortuary in Burlington from 6 until 8 this evening, and at other times they will be at the residence of Randel Greeson , 8033 Beale Road, Snow Camp.
Memorials may be made to Rock Creek United Methodist Church, 7315 Mt. Hermon-Rock Creek Road, Snow Camp, N.C. 27349 or to Hospice and Palliative Care of Alamance-Caswell, 914 Chapel Hill Road, Burlington, N.C. 27215.
