Obituary for Ina Ruth Carey
Ina Ruth Stambaugh Carey of Celina, Texas, went home to be with her Lord and Savior, Jesus Christ, on Wednesday, March 25, 2015 at the age of 82. Ruth was born on September 15, 1932 to Mr. and Mrs. Samuel Edgar Stambaugh. She graduated from Alla School in 1949. On November 24, 1949 she married the love of her life Clint Carey, Jr. also of Celina. She is survived by her husband of 65 years, her children Kathy Carey Howard and husband Randy, Rick Carey and wife Linda, and Steve Carey and wife Valerie all of Celina. She will be dearly missed by her 8 grandchildren, Stacey Loyless and husband Paul, Casey Rutherford and husband Justin, Jaime Taylor and husband Nick, Cindy Crowe and husband Nelson, Rebekah Swaringen and husband Tim, Brad Carey, Adam Carey and Austin Carey, and her 5 great grandchildren Evelyn and Addison Loyless, Parker Ruth Rutherford, Ella Ruth Swaringen and soon to be born, Joseph Clint Taylor. She will also be missed by her numerous nieces and nephews. Ruth is preceded in death by her parents, brothers O.R. Stambaugh and Edgar Herron Stambaugh and sister Iva Marie Cromer. Ruth was a lifelong member of the First Baptist Church of Celina. Memorial service will be held at 1:30 pm Saturday, March 28, 2015 at First Baptist Church of Celina.
