Bio: Enlisted on July 8, 1862 at Guilford County, North Carolina as a Private in the 1st North Carolina Infantry, Company H at the age of 30. POW on May 12, 1864 at Spotsylvania Court House, Virginia. Confined on May 15, 1864 at Point Lookout, Maryland. Received at Elmira on August 6, 1864. died of typhoid fever as a POW.
