Will

I Anthony Ingle of the County of Guilford and State of North Carolina being of Sound mind and Memory but Considering the uncertainly of my Earthly Existence do make and declare this my last Will and testament in manner and form following that is to Say.
First, That my Executor (hereinafter) named Shall Provide for my body a decent Burial Suitable to the wishes of my relations and friend and pay all funeral Expenses together with my just debts out of the moneys that may first come into his hands as a part or parcel of my Estate. I give and devise to my beloved wife Laura all my lands together with all my interest in the Crops growing on them in the year 1897. Also one bay Colt Della by name one Sow and pigs one Yellow Cow and Calf and four Sheep. Also all of my household and Kitchen furniture and farming utensils to have and to hold to her, the Said Laura for and during the term of her natural life, in Satisfaction for and in lieu of her dower and thirds of and in all my real Estate.
Second After the death of my Wife Laura I give and devise to my Eldest John all that tract of land whereon he now lives & also will and bequeath at my death to my Son John one bay horse Logan by name.
Third At the death of my wife Laura I give and devise to my youngest Son Samuel the home place where on I now live on so much of it as will make him Equal with my other heirs. At my death I also will and bequeath to my Said Son Samuel one iron Gray horse Jersy by name.
Forth At the death of my wife Laura, I will that my daughter Hellen be made Equal with the other heirs in money of land from my Estate. I also will and bequeath at my death my daughter Hellen one bay mare by name beck.
And lastly – I do hereby constitute and appoint my son John my lawful Executor to all contents and purposes to Execute this my last will and testament, According to the true interest and meaning of the Laws, and every part and Clause thereof – hereby revoking and declaring utterly void all other wills and testament by me hereto one made.
