In the name of God Amen I Daniel Clapp of Guilford County North Carolina do make this my last will & testament I will and bequeath to my wife May fifty Acres of land my Bay Mare all my stock of cattle & hogs Duren her life and after her death to my grand son Jacob Clapp to have the fifty Acres of Land – willed to my wife May Clapp I will and bequeath to my Daughter Eave Hubert 50 Acres of land Duren her life & after her Death to Jacob Clapp I wish after the Death of my wife that my dughr Eave have the cattle & hogs & after her death I wish Jacob Clapp son of Eave Hubert to have all the above named property & land I have given to my son Joseph Clapp his part in land I have given to my Daughter May Clapp before her Death her part In my money I will and bequeath to my son Henry Clapp one Dollar I wish no sale of my property In testimony where of I have set my hand and seal in the presence of - this 12th Jul 1843
