Obituary Online notes for Frank SHEPHERD
GIBSONVILLE - Mr. Frank Shepherd, 95, of 700 Springwood Ave., died at the Hospice Home on Monday, June 23, 2014, at 3 p.m.

A native of Charleston, S.C., he was the husband of the late Kathleen Ingle Shepherd and the son of C.C. Shepherd and Belle Hazelwood Shepherd, both deceased.

He worked as a welder during World War II at the shipyards in Newport News, Va. He was a self-employed paint and remodeling contractor and during the 1960's owned and operated a Gulf Service Station in Gibsonville. Mr. Shepherd was a retired employee of Guilford County.

Frank was a member of Springwood Presbyterian Church where he was a deacon and elder emeritus.

Survivors include a daughter, Lyndia Kleeberg and husband Richard of Gibsonville and grandson, Rick Kleeberg of Gibsonville.

He was preceded in death by a granddaughter, Kelley Lynne Kleeberg and sister, Donnie Jobe.

A memorial service will be conducted at Springwood Presbyterian Church on Thursday, June 26, 2014, at 2 p.m. by Cynthia Ingle, CLP and the Rev. Dr. Genie Martin.

The family will receive friends immediately following the service in the fellowship hall of the church. 470, Frank Shepherd
