BURLINGTON — Mr. Hal James Curtis, 87, of 7401 Shoe Road, Burlington, died at Alamance Regional Medical Center on Thursday, May 5, 2011, at noon.
A native of Guilford County, he was the husband of the late Hollis Blanche Huffman Curtis and the son of Charles Curtis and Louise Wynn Curtis, both deceased. He was a veteran of the U. S. Army serving during WorldWar II and a retired banker. Hal was a member of Low’s Lutheran Church.
Survivors include his son, James T. Curtis and wife Carol of Greensboro; his daughter, Ellen C. Coble and husband Gary of Graham; and four grandchildren.
The funeral service will be conducted at Low’s Lutheran Church on Monday, May 9, 2011, at 3 p.m. by the Rev. David Mielke. Burial will follow in the church cemetery.

Church following the service and burial of Mr. Curtis.
