    GOLDSBORO — Mr. Tony Ray Morene , 51, died Monday, Jan. 7, 2008, at Wayne Memorial Hospital.
    Tony  was born in Guilford County, on October 1, 1956, to the Rev. Billy Morene  and Lorene Little Morene  of Gibsonville. He was a member of Fellowship Baptist Church and was a United States Army veteran. Tony  was a cabinet sprayer.
    The funeral will be held at 7 p.m. Thursday at Pikeville Pentecostal Free Will Baptist Church with the Rev. Dr. Don Sauls officiating. Interment will be Friday at 11 a.m. at the Scott Family Cemetery with Dr. John Shore officiating.
    In addition to his parents, Tony  is survived by his wife, Lanell Hawley Morene ; his daughters, Marsha Harvell of Burlington, Melissa Sumner of Mebane and Emily Morene  of Graham; his son, Anthony Morene  of Florida; his sister, Linda Pitman of Liberty, N.C.; his grandchildren, Shauna Harvell, Nick Harvell, Madison Harvell, Michael Sumner and Trinity Morene ; and his stepsons, Jason Hawley of Pikeville and Rhett Hawley of Kenly.
    The family will receive friends Thursday following the funeral service at the church and at other times at the home.
