Henry "June" Mahaley
BURLINGTON — Mr. Henry "June" Mahaley , 75, of 1860 Robinhood Drive, died Friday, Feb. 8, 2008, in Burlington.
He was the husband of Mildred "Mickey" Smith Mahaley who survives and the son of James Mahaley and Susan Walton Mahaley , both deceased. He was a veteran of the U.S. Army serving during the Korean Conflict. He retired from Burlington Industries after 49 years.
In addition to his wife of the home, survivors include his son, Ray Mahaley and wife, Rhonda of Haw River; two grandsons; one granddaughter; two sisters, Annie Boswell of Providence and Daisy Fain of Alamance; two brothers, Brice Mahaley of Prospect Hill and Robert Mahaley of Providence; and his poodle, Tiny.
He was preceded in death by his son, Danny Mahaley ; one grandson; one sister; and two brothers.
The funeral will be conducted at the Rich & Thompson Chapel in Burlington on Monday, Feb. 11, 2008, at 2 p.m. Burial will follow in Alamance Memorial Park.
The family will receive friends at the funeral home Sunday from 4 to 6 p.m. Other times they will be at the residence.
