MEBANE — Kathleen Audrey Parker Josey , 78, of 6505 Deer Chase Drive, Mebane, was sent to heaven on a prayer at 6:30 p.m. Wednesday, Feb. 13, 2008, at Alamance Regional Medical Center.
She was a loving mother who attended the Zion Christian Church in Burlington.
Survivors include five children, Butch Josey and wife Donna of Greensboro, Marvin Josey and wife Jana of Riverside, Calif., Kay Patterson and husband Aaron of Elon, Audrey Josey of the home and Virgil Josey and wife Debra of Asheboro; two sisters, Doris Ingram and Ann Crickerberger, both of South Boston, Va.; two brothers, Snooks Parker of Rustburg, Va. and Pete Parker of Franklin, Va.; six grandchildren and three great-grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by her parents, Leonard Tolbert Parker and Minnie Bell Robertson Parker.
A memorial service will be held at 5 p.m. Saturday, Feb. 16, 2008, at the McClure Funeral Home Chapel in Mebane, N.C. by the Rev. Milton Wilder.
Visitation will be held one hour before the service time at McClure Funeral Service in Mebane, and at other times at the residence.
In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the American Heart Association National Center, 7272 Greenville Ave., Dallas, Texas 75231, or to the American Diabetes Association, P.O. Box 11454, Alexandria, Va. 22312.
