Hazel Clapp Roberts
WHITSETT, N.C. — Hazel Clapp Roberts, 80, passed away Monday, November 22, 2010 at Moses H. Cone Memorial Hospital.
Mrs. Roberts was born September 10, 1930 in Guilford County to the late Harvey Luther and Bessie Barber Clapp. Hazel retired from Regent Lighting, was a member of Mt. Hope United Church of Christ, and a member of the Women of the Moose.
Survivors include a son, Marshall Roberts and his wife Kathy, of Browns Summit; three grandchildren, Christine Roberts, Kevin Roberts and his wife Ashley, and Bradley Roberts and his wife Kim.
Hazelwasprecededindeath by an infant son, Rodger Lynn Roberts; and a sister, Emma Faye Ammons.
A Funeral service will be held at 11 a.m. Wednesday,
November 24, 2010 at the Lowe Funeral Home Chapel. A private interment will follow at Alamance Memorial Park. The family will greet friends following the chapel service.
Memorials may be made to Mt. Hope United Church of Christ, 2400 Mt. Hope Church Road, Whitsett, N.C. 27377.
