EDEN - Rev. William Eugene Baulding, 87, of 1815 E. Stadium Drive, went home to be with the Lord on Friday, February 2, 2007, at the Brian Center in Eden.
Funeral services will be held at 2 p.m. on Sunday, February 4, at Draper Pentecostal Holiness Church by Bishop Tommy McGhee officiating and burial will follow at Overlook Cemetery in Eden.
He was the husband of 64 years to Louise Terrell Baulding who survives.
Rev. Baulding was a member of the Western North Carolina Conference of the Pentecostal Holiness Church for over 68 years. He served as interim pastor of Gibsonville Christian Church following his retirement and he was a member of Draper Pentecostal Holiness Church in Eden. William attended Holmes College of the Bible in Greenville, South Carolina and Brevard College and Guilford College in Greensboro.
Survivors include his wife, Louise Terrell Baulding of the home; sons and daughters-in-law, Larry E. Baulding and his wife, Sonia of Eden, Rev. William L. Baulding and his wife, Linda of Mt. Holly, Richard N. Baulding of McLeansville; daughter and son-in-law, Karen B. Setliff and her husband, Gary of Eden; grandchildren, Stuart and Joshua Baulding both of Mt. Holly and Robin Setliff Wilson of Eden; brother, James R. Thomas of Gibsonville.
He was preceded in death by his parents, William Samuel and Rosa Etta Smith Baulding and a brother, Donald L. Baulding. 470, Rev William Eugene Baulding
