Obituary Online notes for Osa Rea SHOFFNER
OSA SHOFFNER MCADOO, 93, passed away February 10, 2019. Osa was born in Guilford County on August 13, 1925 to the late Thomas Joyner Shoffner and Nora Greeson Shoffner. She was a long-time, dedicated Registered Nurse and the loving wife of Tom McAdoo. Osa was preceded in death by Tom, five sisters and three brothers. Survivors include her son Tim McAdoo and wife Jane of Chapel Hill; daughter Diane McAdoo Rothrock and husband Ron of Summerfield; grandchildren Keith McAdoo, Allison McAdoo Dawson, Lauren Rothrock Warren, Blake Rothrock; and five great grandchildren. Osa was a member of Buffalo Presbyterian Church.
