Obituary Online notes for Jesse Carson INGLE Sr.
Jesse Carson Ingle, Sr., 72, went to be with the Lord suddenly Jan. 9, 2005 while attending church. He had fought a long and courageous battle between both heart problems and Parkinson's disease since 1991.

A native of Cosby, Tennessee, he was the son of the late Zeb Vance and Delcie Laws Ingle and husband of 53 years of Vera Anna Cobb Ingle who survives. He graduated from Gibsonville High School in 1950 and Elon College in 1958. Mr. Ingle was retired from AT&T, MAC Panel Company in High Point and Huffman Oil Company. He was a member of Springwood Presbyterian Church where he was a former choir member, deacon and elder. He was a US Air Force Veteran of the Korean War. Was a Boy Scout leader, coached youth baseball and football for many years. Was a member of the Lions Club, Whitsett Ruritan Club, Sons of the American Revolution, was President of Ingle Family Racing, Inc. and was co-owner of Whitsett Texaco.

Survivors include his wife, Vera Anna Cobb Ingle, son Dan Winslow Ingle and wife Debbie Ingle of Burlington, daughter LuAnne Ingle Cox and husband John Cox of Rock Hill, SC, son Jesse (Jay)Carson Ingle, Jr. and wife Sherri Ingle of Gibsonville, NC and daughter, Laura Ingle Franklin and husband David Franklin of Waukesha, WI. 12 grand-children, 7 great-grandchildren, two brothers; James R. Ingle, Sr. and wife Renate Ingle and Howard V. Ingle and wife Bonnie Ingle, all of Gibsonville.
