Clyde V. Madren, Jr. CHARLESTON - Clyde V. Madren, Jr., 70, of Charleston, SC, husband of Nancy Fletcher Madren died Sunday, January 26, 2014. Clyde was born December 28, 1943 in Charleston, SC, son of the late Clyde Vawter Madren and Mamie Westendorff Madren. He graduated from Porter Military Academy and Clemson University. Clyde served in the U.S. Army during Vietnam and he was a retired owner/operator of Madren Paint Company. He is survived by his wife; two daughters: Annie Madren (Robert) Young of Charleston, SC, and Christine M. Millsap of Raleigh, NC; one step-daughter, Melanie Thornhill (Frank) of Charleston, SC; and his sister, Merlee Madren of Irmo, SC. 470, Clyde Vawter Madren, Jr
