January 26, 1991 ~ January 15, 2024 (age 32)
Beverly Michelle Shaw (Moore) 32, of Pond Road, affectionately known as Bev, unexpectedly passed away on January 15th, 2024.
A native of Alamance County, she was the daughter of Neil Moore and the late Tonya Moore and was registered CMA with Alamance OB/GYN.
Beverly was a 2009 graduate of Southern Alamance High School and attended Alamance Community College where she graduated with her CMA. She leaves behind several members of
the community who loved her and supported her through her lifetime and through every difficult and positive season she experienced. During her career with Alamance OB/GYN, she helped several patients and has been remembered for her contagious smile, optimistic outlook on life and her extreme kindness.
To know Beverly was to love Beverly. If you were to ask her, the most important thing that she was able to achieve in her lifetime was becoming a girl mama. And an incredible mama she was. Beverly welcomed two incredible girls into this world and they were her lifeline and strength over the past couple of years. Her legacy will be just that - an amazing mother and friend to all who knew her.
She is survived by her daughters, Brayleigh Michelle Shaw and Sophie May Shaw, her father, Neil Moore, her brother, Christopher Moore and wife Seraphina, aunts and uncles, Charles and Lynn Moore, Chuck and Elizabth Roney and Rob Morton, grandmother, Sandra Moore, as well as cousins Jacob and Patrick Moore and Branden and Zachary Roney.
Beverly was greeted in heaven by her mama, Tonya Moore as well as her grandparents Buck and Donna Roney and Buddy Moore.
The service to celebrate her life will be held on Saturday, January 27th at 11:00 am at the Rich and Thompson Funeral Home in Burlington NC officiated by her brother, Chris.
There will be a private, family graveside.
The family will be receiving friends on Friday, January 26th from 5:00 pm - 8:00 pm at the Rich and Thompson Funeral Home in Burlington NC.
When not at the funeral home, the family will be at the home of her brother, Chris at 3953 S NC Highway 62, Burlington NC 27215 (the historic mill village of Alamance).
In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to Rich and Thompson Funeral Home in Burlington to help with funeral expenses.
