BROWNS SUMMIT — Joshua Lance Chrismon, 19, of 8003 Pritchett Road, died Tuesday, December 2, 2008, in Guilford County.
Funeral services will be held at 11 a.m. on Saturday, December 6, 2008, at Apple’s Chapel Christian Church with the Rev. Allen Myers officiating. Interment will follow in the church cemetery.
Joshua was born in Guilford County. He graduated from Northeast Guilford Senior High School in 2008 and attended Apple’s Chapel Christian Church all of his life. He loved everything about the outdoors and was an avid sportsman. He was preceded in death by his stepgrandfather, Arnold O. Webb.
Joshua is survived by his mother, Lisa Michelle Cobb-Webb and husband, Nolan, of Floyd, Va.; father, Jeffery Ray Chrismon and stepmother, Brenda Foust, of the home; stepsisters, Tiffany Mae Mabery, Christen Webb, Ashley Webb, Angel Payne and Misty Foust; stepbrother, Ricky Starnes and wife, Kim; nieces and nephews, Haley, Marley, Baby Mabery, Cody, Emmalea, Shania, Chase and Nathan; maternal stepgrandfather, Jack Melvin Cobb and wife, Debbie; paternal grandfather, Melvin Ray Chrismon and wife, Carol; paternal grandmother, Peggy Justice Johnson and husband, Dwight; maternal stepgrandmother, Nancy C. Webb; paternal stepgrandparents, Roger and Lou Tuttle; maternal greatgrandmothers, Hazel Lee Wyrick and Virginia Cobb; paternal great-grandmothers, Beulah Cook Chrismon and Dorothy Horton Justice; special friend, Gary Wayne Mabery; and many special aunts, uncles, cousins, and many special friends.
The family will receive friends from 6 to 9 p.m. Friday, December 5, 2008, at Apple’s Chapel Christian Church. At other times they will be at his residence.
