Obituary Online notes for “Teeny” Juanita NORRIS
Juanita "Teeny" Sutton, our loving Mother passed away peacefully Friday, August 4, 2023. Born July 17, 1929 in Dillon, SC to Ernest and Mary Ann Norris. She was a friend to all that she met, she loved her Church, Family and Country. She always welcomed anyone into her home and life. She was kind, loving, forgiving and an authentic, genuine person, who loved the Lord and Family. She was a strong believer in treating people with respect and kindness. She was a faithful member of the Westside Baptist Church and attended Sunday School every Sunday she was able. She loved her church and all of the friends she made there. Mom loved all animals and especially her dogs, there were always dogs and people in her home. She was happiest when both were with her.

She was a devoted wife to Frank W. Sutton of 40 years when the Lord took Frank, the love of her life, to heaven in 2009. They are now reunited and we are sure walking hand in hand enjoying eternity together. She was a supervisor for Revlon before retiring 30+ years ago. She loved her work, the company and her coworkers.

Those left behind and who will miss her dearly are her daughters, Marilynn Caulder, Wanda Caulder (Tim) and son Wayne Caulder (Leta).

She was a proud grandmother, great-grandmother and great-great grandmother; Eight grandchildren, Lisa, Leslie, Ashley, Cody, Journey, Keely, Delaney and Will; 6 great grand Children; Morgan, Layla, Eva, Mason, Simeon and Callan. 1 great great grandchild, Kennedy. She loved each of us with all of her heart and always had a kind word to say when we were together. She was full of great advice, wisdom and stories from her life that she shared openly and often. She enjoyed traveling to the Mountains and Beaches but mostly visiting with friends and family as often as possible. She was one of the greatest cooks of Southern Cooking any of us have ever met. Everyone enjoyed her wonderful meals and time together.

Mom also leaves behind many beloved nieces, nephews, cousins and cherished friends and neighbors.

A private graveside service will be held at Riverside Memorial Park Cemetery.

A Celebration of Life service will be held on Saturday August 12, 2023 at 2pm at Westside Baptist Church, 7775 Herlong Road Jacksonville, FL 32210. A reception will immediately follow the service at the church.

Fond memories and expressions of sympathy may be shared at www.hgriversidefuneralhome.com for the family.

In lieu of flowers, Mom's wish was that any donations be made to her favorite charity (Boxer Dog Rescue and Adoption) www.boxerarc.org or can be mailed to BARC, PO Box 12963, Tallahassee, Florida 32317-2963. She was a lover of all animals but especially the Boxers she raised and loved over the years that she adopted from this charity.

Mom loved her friends and family, and she would want you to know how grateful and appreciative she was for all of you who also loved and cared for her in her lifetime. Her thoughts and prayers were that each of you would find happiness and peace and learn to love each other, bringing love and kindness to all.
