Obituary for Thomas "Tommy" Lee Allred
Elon-Thomas Lee “Tommy” Allred, 83, went home to be with the Lord on Friday, April 28, 2017. Tommy was a native of Caswell County and the son of the late William Banks Allred and Mattie Sue Miles Allred. He was the husband of 36 years to Jane Mabrey Allred who survives.

Tommy was the owner and operator of Allred Radio and TV for many years and a member of the Caswell County Rescue for over 15 years. He was a member of Concord Christian Church and he loved people and sharing stories from the past. Tommy enjoyed working with his1954 Ford tractor and helping throughout the community.

Survivors include his wife of the home; daughter, Michele Massey Swinney and her husband, John Paul of New Bern, NC; grandchildren, Michael and Marcus Hopkins; great grandchildren, Hunter and Colt Hopkins and numerous nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by his parents; brothers, David, Earl, Preston and Sam Allred and a sister, Maggie Tate.

A graveside service to celebrate his life will be held on Tuesday, May 2, 2017 at 11:00 am by pastor Bruce Church at Concord Christian Church Cemetery with visitation to follow in the church fellowship hall.
