Arlene Elizabeth Vincent Evans
GIBSONVILLE — Mrs. Arlene Elizabeth Vincent Evans, 76, of 6650 Payne-Hardy Road, Gibsonville died at the Hospice Home in Burlington on Wednesday, November 11, 2009 at 6:45 p.m.
A native of Gibsonville, she was the wife of the lateThomas Glenn “T.G.” Evans Jr. and the daughter of Thurman Wesley Vincent and Irma Gertrude Lowman Vincent, both deceased. She retired from Tower Hosiery and attended Gibsonville Christian Church.
Survivorsincludeherdaughter, Vanessa Cook and fiancé Gary Lynn Southard of Gibsonville; her son, Vance Evans of the home; two grandchildren, Travis and Amber Cook; two great-grandchildren, Logan and Wyatt; and two sisters, Irma Lee Daniels of Hopedale and Vernie Busick of Gibsonville.
She was preceded in death by two brothers, Connie Ray Vincent and Garner Vincent.
The funeral service will be conducted at the Rich & Thompson Chapel in Burlington on Saturday, November 14, 2009 at 11 a.m. by the Rev. Bennie Smith.
Burial will follow at Gibsonville City Cemetery.
The family will receive friendsattheRich&Thompson Funeral and Cremation Service in Burlington on Friday from 6 until 8 p.m. At other times they will be at the residence.
