Doris Marcell Cook

BURLINGTON - Doris Marcell Cook, 84, of Burlington passed away at Authora Care Hospice Home on Tuesday, November 9, 2021.

A native of Rock Creek, NC, she was the wife of the late Harvey Lee Cook and the daughter of Buford Randleman and Mildred Moore Randleman, both deceased. She was a seamstress and a member of Gibsonville Evangelical Methodist Church.

Survivors include a daughter, Donna Cook Long and husband Tommy of Zephyrhills, FL; granddaughter, Tiffany Hall and husband Joseph of High Point, NC; and two great-grandchildren, Katelyn Hall and Elizabeth Hall.

The family will receive friends at Rich& Thompson Funeral and Cremation Service in Burlington on Friday, November 12, 2021 from 5:00 until 7:00 p.m.

The funeral service will be conducted at Gibsonville Evangelical Methodist Church on Saturday, November 13, 2021 at 10:00 a.m. by Rev. Paul Speagle and Rev. AmyAlbright.

Burial will follow at Alamance Memorial Park.
