Obituary Online notes for Emma Frances McKINNEY
REIDSVILLE - Emma Frances McKinney Arnold went to be with the LORD on August 6, 2008.

Born in Bachelors Hall, Va., she was a resident of Reidsville since early childhood.

Funeral services will be held at 3 p.m. on Sunday, Aug. 10 in the Chapel of Citty Funeral Home with Rev. Shannon Newsome officiating. The family will see friends from 2 p.m. until service time at the funeral home. Interment will follow in Greenview Cemetery. Pallbearers will be: David Arnold, Eric Arnold, Mark Arnold, Tom Wayman, Sonny Brown, and Ronnie Brown.

Mrs. Arnold was preceded in death by her husband, Everette L Arnold; her parents, Viola Brown McKinney and James Henry McKinney and brother John H McKinney.

Mrs. Arnold was a wonderful Mother and Wife, with many talents, including being an expert at sewing, crocheting, cooking and especially baking bread. She took her passion for perfection into the workplace at Leinwand's Department Store, Ideal Grocery, Newnam's Supermarket, Collins and Bowen Grocery, L O Lemmons (Accountant) and Bowen Electric.

Mrs. Arnold was Sunday School Secretary for over 60 years at North Scales Street Church of Christ, now Reidsville Christian Church, with perfect attendance for MANY years. She was a graduate of Reidsville High School.

Mrs. Arnold is survived by her son, Everette L (Buster) Arnold, Jr. and wife Barbara Sparks Arnold, grandchildren Suzanne Arnold Wayman and husband Tom, David Arnold and wife Emily, Eric Arnold and Mark Arnold. "Extra" grandchildren Amie Snell and husband Greg and Danae Foster and husband Keenan. Great-grandchildren Rob and Cole Wayman and Caroline Arnold. "Extra" great-grandchildren Madeline Emma Snell and Noelle, K J, Ava and Christian Foster.

Special thanks to the helpful staff members at Blumenthal's, especially Kami, Diana, Jennifer, Andrea, Jessica, Frenita and Emma.

Memorials may be made to the Foreign Missions Fund of Reidsville Christian Church, 2020 South Park Dr., Reidsville, N.C. 27320.
