CHRISTIAN LEONARD ISLEY
Funeral services for Christian Leonard Isley, 70, well known retired merchant, were conducted yesterday afternoon at 3 o'clock at the residence, 806 West Davis Street by the Rev. W. A. Cade, of the Front Street M. E. church. Music was rendered by the choir of the Front Street M. E. church. Interment followed in the Pine Hill cemetery.
Mr. Isley died Sunday afternoon at 12:45 o'clock at his home, after a year of failing health with one week's critical illness.
The pallbearers were nephews of the deceased; Hugh G., Randolph, Coman and Carlysle Isley, Leon Jones and R. A. Sharpe.
The numerous flowers were carried by; Misses Mitylene Isley, Jeanne and Genevieve Isley, Millicent Moore, Frances Jones, Virginia and Josephine Walker, Martha Coble, Stella Goldsmith, Calva Sharpe; Mesdames Coman Isley, C. E. Walters, John Stewart, Harold Morrison, J. M. Faulkner and G. E. Thompson.
