BURLINGTON — Georgia H. Chilton, 72, of Oak Creek Apartments, died at 8:10 a.m. Saturday, June 26, 2004, at Kindred Hospital after four years of failing health.
A native of Surry County, N.C., she was the wife of the late William Frank Chilton and the daughter of Claude Hardy and Myrtle Brindle Hardy, both deceased. She was retired from AT&T and was a member of Staley Memorial Baptist Church.
Survivors include an aunt, Mrs. Agnes McKinney of Gibsonville; an uncle, Thurmon Hardy of Burlington; and several cousins.
A graveside service will be conducted at 3 p.m. Monday at Alamance Memorial Park by the Rev. Dave Gilbert.
