Glenn Lee Henderson
SNOW CAMP — Mr. Glenn Lee Henderson, 86, of 6733 Beale Road, Snow Camp, died at the Hospice Home on Tuesday, March 12, 2013.
A native of Alamance County, he was the husband of the late Jean Garrison Henderson and the son of James Obit Henderson and Ida Mae Sharpe Henderson. He was founder of Southern Tree Service in 1960. Glenn was a member of Rock Creek United Methodist Church and the Alamance Beagle Club.
Survivors include three sons, Jimmy Henderson and wife Donna of Graham, Earl Henderson and wife Hilda of Snow Camp and Keith Henderson and wife Judy of Burlington; seven grandchildren, Todd Henderson and wife Sharon, Tony Henderson and wife Pam, Melanie Howell and husband Michael, Tina Smith and husband Chris, Justin Henderson and wife Tina, Haley Henderson and Will Henderson; and 11 greatgrandchildren.
He was preceded in death by a granddaughter, Kalsey Elizabeth Henderson; greatgranddaughter, Madelyn Joyce Smith; and brother Alton Henderson.
The funeral service will be conducted at Rock Creek United Methodist Church on Friday, March 15, 2013 at 11 a.m. by the Rev. Richard Booker and the Rev. Jim Folks. Burial will follow in the church cemetery.
The family will receive friends at the Rich & Thompson Funeral Home and Crematory in Graham on Thursday from 6 to 8 p.m. At other times they will be at the residence.
