Peter Graves was born in Greenwich Township, Berks County, Pennsylvinia. He was killed by Indians in what is present day Union County Tennessee but in 1794, prior to the establishment of the state of Tennessee, it was Knox County, North Carolina. The photo of the Peter Graves plaque is located at the spot were he is reported to have been killed. This spot is about 1/4 of a mile from the Sharps Station Cemetery.  470, Peter Graves
