Melvin “Bunky” Kernodle
   NASHVILLE, Tenn. — Melvin “Bunky” Kernodle, 79, will be laid to rest on Monday, Sept. 27, 2010, at 1 p.m. in Veteran’s Cemetery on Gallatin Pike South, in Nashville, Tenn.

   His is survived by his son, J.W. and wife Sandi of Graham, one sister, Edith Rudd of Burlington; and numerous nieces and nephews.

   He was preceded in death by a sister, Minnie Lee Smithey; two brothers, Leonard and Wilbur; and two infant siblings.
