BURLINGTON - Mr. J. Floyd Coble, 82 of Twin Lakes Center, died Monday, Oct. 27, 1997.
Funeral service will be 11:00 A.M. Wednesday at St. Paul's Lutheran Church with burial in the church cemetery. The Rev. Joyce E. Taipale, Pastor and Sister Cathy Fanslau, Chaplain Twin Lakes Center will officiate.
He was retired from AT&T as tool engineer and was a farmer. He was the son of the late James Henry Franklin Coble and the late Donna Robert Greeson Coble.
He was a member of St. Paul's Lutheran Church and a graduate of Elon College and a member of the Telephone Pioneers of America.
Survivors include sisters, Mrs. Esther Dunn and Mrs. Vivian Darlington, both of Burlington; five nieces and one nephew.
He was preceded in death by sister, Miss Julia Frances Coble and brother, Dr. Albert Vernon Coble.
The family will be at the Rich & Thompson Mortuary in Burlington from 5:30 til 7:00 P.M. Tuesday.
