Charlie Vern Fogleman
ALAMANCE — Mr. Charlie Vern Fogleman, 92, of Alamance, died Monday, December 13, 2010, at 2:25 a.m., at the Hospice Home in Burlington.
A native of Randolph County, he was husband of the late Lugerta Allen Fogleman and son of the late Charlie Webb Fogleman and Sally Holt Fogleman. He was retired from the textile and construction industries. Mr. Fogleman was a U.S. Army veteran of World War II, an avid hunter and gardener and was of the Christian Faith.
Surviving are two sons, Kenny Fogleman and wife Ann of Snow Camp and Max V. Fogleman and wife Phyllis of Burlington; eight grandchildren; 11 great-grandchildren; and a brother, Carl “Bucky” Fogleman of Burlington; two daughters-in-law, Libby Fogleman and Pam Fogleman. He was preceded in death by two sons, Eric Fogleman and Charles Fogleman; five sisters and seven brothers.
Services will be held 2 p.m. Wednesday, Dec. 15, at the Rich & Thompson
Chapel in Burlington
with Dr. Don Carter officiating. Burial will follow in Alamance Memorial Park.
The family will receive friends at the Rich &Thompson Funeral and Cremation Service in Burlington from 1 to 2 p.m., Wednesday prior to the service, and at other times at the residence.
