Jacob L. Isley
Jacob L. Isley, 90, of Snow Camp, route 3, died yesterday afternoon at 5:30 at the residence of a son, J. Moody Isley, after declining health of three years. He was the widower of Mrs. Matilda Rachel Isley.
A native of Alamance county he was the son of the late Mr. and Mrs. Daniel Isley, well known retired farmer of the Snow Camp community.
Funeral services will be conducted Friday afternoon at 2:00 oclock from Friendship Methodist church. The Rev. J. R. Anderson, Dr. F. W. Paschal and the Rev. D. I. Offman, will officiate. Interment will be in Friendship church cemetery.
The body was removed from the Rich and Thompson mortuary to the home this afternoon.
He is survived by seven children; Mrs. Z. V. Coble, Burlington; Mrs. Anthony Cobb, Burlington, Route No. 1; Mrs. Frank Amick, Kimesville; Mrs. Moody and Daniel Isley, Route No. 5, Burlington; 35 grandchildren and 25 great grandchildren.
He was a member of Friendship Methodist church.
