BURLINGTON – Mrs. Ruth Darline Ledford Ingle, 81, of 4254 Pond Road, Burlington died at her residence on Monday, December 26, 2016 at 4 p.m.
A native of Alamance County, she was the wife of the late Homer Daniel Ingle and the daughter of Walter Ledford and Elizabeth Taylor Watkins Ledford, both deceased.
She was a homemaker and a member of Brick Reformed Church.
Survivors include three daughters, Debra Ingle of the home, Darline Ingle and husband Tommy of Burlington and Ann Elaine Turner and husband James of Burlington; son, Daniel Lee Ingle and wife Annette of Burlington; 11 grandchildren, nine greatgrandchildren; and two brothers, Calvin Ledford and Garland Ledford.
Mrs. Ingle was preceded in death by her daughter, Linda Kay Lee; two sisters, Gladys Marie Athey and Norma Jean Bowes; and brother, Robert Bruce Ledford.
The funeral service will be conducted at Brick Reformed Church on Thursday, December 29, 2016 at 2 p.m. by Rev. Geoff Lalone with the family receiving friends from 12:45 p.m. til 1:45 p.m. prior to the service at the church. Burial will follow in Brick Reformed Church Cemetery. Other times, the family will be at the residence.
Memorials may be made to Hospice and Palliative Care of Alamance-Caswell, 914 Chapel Hill Road, Burlington, NC 27215.
