    WHITSETT — Mr. George Delano Ingle, age 70, of 7205 Greeson Road, died Monday, June 27, 2011, at Forsyth Medical Center after several months of failing health.
    A native of Guilford County, he was the son of the late George Jacob Ingle and the late Etta Lane Sumner Ingle and was married to the late Linda Snow Ingle, who died in 2006. He retired after a long career with the City of Burlington and was a longtime member of the Kingdom Hall of Jehovah’s Witnesses of Gibsonville.
    Mr. Ingle is survived by a daughter, Ruth Ann Ingle of Burlington; three sisters, Deanna I. Beaver and her husband, Charles, of Greensboro, Myra I. Troxler of Whitsett and Melanie I. Abernathy of Burlington; three brothers, Douglas W. Ingle of Burlington, Gary Randall Ingle and Timothy Ingle, both of Whitsett; and several nieces and nephews.
    The memorial service will be conducted at 2 p.m. Saturday, July 9, 2011 at the Kingdom Hall of Jehovah’s Witnesses of Gibsonville (3401 Suits Road) by Bob Langbeen. The family will receive friends following the service. A private burial was held at a previous date.
    In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to Watch Tower Bible and Tract Society, 25 Columbia Heights, Brooklyn, N.Y. 11201-2483.
