GREENSBORO, N.C. — Melanie Ingle Abernathy, 53, of 200 East Greensboro Street, Greensboro, died Saturday, Aug. 20, 2011.
A native of Guilford County, she was the daughter of George Jacob Ingle and Etta Lane Sumner Ingle, both of whom preceded her in death.
Survivors include her daughter, Kim Helton; sons, Jacob Abernathy and Marcus Abernathy; sisters, Deanna Beaver and Myra Troxler; brothers, Douglas Ingle, Gary Ingle and Timothy Ingle; and grandchildren, Joshua Kirkpatrick, Eva Kirkpatrick, Dawson Abernathy and Adam Helton.
A memorial service will be conducted at 6 p.m. Saturday, Aug. 27, 2011 in the McClure Funeral Home Chapel, Graham, N.C., by Minister Charles Beaver. The family will receive friends following the service.
