Was married 1st to Mavis Jewell Barnett (1879-1949)on 5 Oct 1901 in Arapaho County, Colorado. He was the father of her daughter LaVera Mae Barnett Parker (1901-1957). Married 2nd to George Otis Clapp (1881-1957) on 27 Aug 1904 in Denver, CO. He is the father of her daughter Bernice Abelline Clapp (1906-1986). Married lastly to
Louis Coleman in 1931 at Lincoln, Nebraska. My mother (Della's granddaughter), knew stories of her grandmother Della growing up a bit wild...many jokes about how she would be going out a window with one date while another was waiting in the parlor. She and her first husband parted ways without a divorce and he moved to Los Angeles, California. She divorced George Clapp in 1923.

Registered Nurse Mrs. D. Coleman Funeral Thursday funeral services for mrs. C Coleman, 73, of 2404 Saint Marys Avenue, who died Tuesday will be 2 p.m. Thursday at Wadlow's. The Reverend S B Thomas officiating. Burial will be in Lincoln Memorial Park.
Mrs. Coleman, a registered nurse, had lived in Nebraska for 45 years. She retired six years ago. She graduated from St Joseph's Hospital School of Nursing in 1933 and was employed there and at the University of Nebraska Hospital in Omaha, as well as on private cases.
Surviving are two daughters, Mrs. Bernice A. Murray of Lincoln and Mrs.Lavera M. Parker of Licking, Missouri; a sister, Mrs. Mary A. Denney of Denver, Colorado; two brothers, HT Crabtree of Denver, Colorado, and Charles E Crabtree of Trinidad British West Indies; six grandchildren and two great-grandchildren. 470, Della Catherine Crabtree Coleman
