SNOW CAMP - Edgard D Sharpe, 78 year-old retired farmer of Route 2, died at his home last night at 7:40 o'clock. He had been in failing health for the past year and was critically ill for two weeks.
The husband of Mrs Sarah Neese Sharpe, who survives he was a native of Alamance County and was the won of the late Emanuel and Mrs Mary Jane Sharpe. He was a member of Mt Hermon Methodist Church.
Surviving, in addition to his wife, are four daughters, Mrs G H Graves of Graham, Mrs J T Isley of Route 2, Mrs Roland Simpson of Route 2, Elon College, Mrs Harold Wright of Graham; two sons, L D Sharpe of Roue 2 and E G Sharpe of Burlington. Thirteen grandchildren also survive.
The funeral will be held tomorrow afternoon at 4 o'clock at Mt Hermon Methodist Church. Rev Auburn W Lore, pastor of the church, will officiate, assisted by Rev Huber L Isley, a retired Methodist minister. Burial will be in the church cemetery. 3, Edgard D Sharpe
