WHITSETT — Larry Lewis Isley, 60, passed away Friday, Nov. 25, 2011 at Hospice Home surrounded by his family. He was the husband of 30 years to Rebecca “Beckie” Moore Isley, of the home, and was born June 3, 1951 to the late Lewis Leslie and Maggie Josephine Greeson Isley.
Larry was a member of First Baptist Church of Whitsett and served in the National Guard.
He is survived by his wife, of the home; son, Landon Lee Isley; daughters, Gwen Isley Brown and husband Bobby Brown Jr. of Whitsett, Sabrina Isley Alcantara and husband Benjamin of Greensboro; and his five grandchildren.
He is preceded in death by his parents.
The funeral will be conducted at 11 a.m. Monday, Nov. 28, 2011 at First Baptist Church of Whitsett by Pastor Tim Stevens with the burial to follow at Alamance Memorial Park.
The family will receive friendsfrom4until6p.m.Sunday at the funeral home and at other times at the home.
In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to Hospice and Palliative Care of Alamance-Caswell, 914 Chapel Hill Road, Burlington, N.C. 27215.
