Melvin Wallace Massey


    REIDSVILLE — MelvinWallace Massey, age 70, of 7175 Cherry Grove Road, passed away Thursday, Jan. 12, 2012 at Hospice Home.
    A native of Caswell County, he was the husband of Ilene Fulk Robinson Massey and son of the late John Robert and Ethel Page Massey.
    Wallace was an electrician with King Electric in Burlington for 38 years, attended Bush Arbor Primitive Baptist Church and was a former president of the Cherry Grove Ruritan Club.
    Survivors include his wife, Ilene Fulk Robinson Massey, of the home; stepson, Jeff Robinson and wife Jeanie of Greensboro; step-grandchildren, Noah and Liam Robinson; brothers, J.R. Massey and wife Sylvia,Wayne Massey and wife Nancy, all of Burlington.
    He was preceded in death; ,
Coleman and Lois Rainey; and brother, the Rev. Felton Massey.
    Funeral services will be conducted at 2 p.m. Saturday, Jan. 14, 2012 in the Lowe Funeral Home Chapel by the Rev. Darrell Massey and Elder David Underwood. Interment will follow in Alamance Memorial Park. Mr. Massey will remain at Lowe Funeral Home and Crematory through the funeral service.
    The family will receive friends at the funeral home from 6 until 8 p.m. Friday and at the residence at other times.
