Lavon Edwards Whitt, 59, of Burlington, passed away on Friday, 9/4/2020 at her residence. A native of Alamance County,
Lavon was the wife of Ross G. Whitt, who survives and the daughter of George D. Edwards and Kathleen Thompson Edwards, both deceased.
In addition to her husband, she is survived by a son, Joe Marshall and his wife Brooke; daughters, Meredith King and her husband Nick, Nicole Cummings and her husband David and Kathryn Flynn and her husband Ricky. Also surviving are her sister, June Edwards Byrd and her husband David, a brother Dennis Edwards, of Florida; her loving grandchildren, Berkeley Grace Marshall, Jay Marshall, Lilly Ann King, Eli Cummings and Avery Cummings. In addition to her parents, Lavon was preceded in death by a brother, Ronnie B. Edwards.
The family will celebrate Lavon’s life with a visitation to be held on Wednesday, 9/9/2020 from 4:00 until 7:00 p.m. at Rich and Thompson Funeral and Cremation Service in Burlington.
