GIBSONVILLE - Mrs. Denise Roney Mann, 36, of 704 Timbergate Drive, died Friday, June 16, 2000, at her home.
The funeral will be held at 2 p.m. Monday, June 19, 2000, at First Baptist Church of Gibsonville, with the Rev. Jim Smyrl, pastor of Cross Creek Community Church, officiating. Burial will be in Alamance Memorial Park.
A native of Alamance County, she was the daughter of Gene Roney, who survives and the late Barbara Cox Roney. She was the owner and operator of Hairworks Beauty Salon, Gibsonville. She was a member of Friendship United Methodist Church. She was a graduate of Southern High School, Leon's Beauty School and she sponsored a girls little league fastpitch softball team, through Hairworks Beauty Salon.
Survivors are her husband, Jeff Mann of the home; two daughters, Miss Amanda Michael and Miss Maleigha Michael, both of the home; parents, Mr. and Mrs. Gene Roney of Burlington; stepsister, Mrs. Connie Woody of Burlington; stepbrother, Michael Beckom of Burlington; grandparents, Mrs. Izone Cox of Gibsonville and Mrs. Joy Bell Roney of Burlington; mother-in-law, Mrs. Linda C.
