BURLINGTON — Mr. L. Wesley Long, 69, of 5325 Mt. Hermon-Rock Creek Road, Burlington died at the Hospice Home on Thursday, Oct. 4, 2012 at 12:10 p.m.
A native of Alamance County, he was the husband of 46 years to Laura Horne Long, who survives, and the son of Fred Lenwood Long and Doris Isley Long, both deceased. He was an auto body repairman.
In addition to his wife of the home, survivors include his daughter, Melissa Long Yates and husband Jesse of Graham and two grandchildren, Jesse Yates IV and Erin Elizabeth Yates.
The family will receive friends at the Rich & Thompson Funeral Home and Crematory in Graham on Saturday from 5 to 7 p.m. At other times they will be at the residence.
Memorials may be made to Hospice and Palliative Care of Alamance-Caswell, 914 Chapel Hill Road, Burlington, NC 27215.
